Jako uzupełnienie 20-osobowej Silesian Jazz Orchestra, w 2020 roku powstał zespół SJO Soul Showband. Dodatkowy 14-osobowy zespół – 11 instrumentalistów i 3 wokalistów, składa się z artystów światowej klasy w międzynarodowym składzie.
SJO Soul Showband powstało do profesjonalnej inscenizacji i prezentacji Blues Brothers Show. W tym celu pozyskaliśmy i zabezpieczyliśmy światowej klasy aranżacje od naszego dobrego przyjaciela i patrona Johna Montesante z australijskiego legendarnego zespołu Soul Funk „Grand Wazoo”. John przez ostatnie 40 lat wytrwale pracował i pisał dla wielu amerykańskich i australijskich legend. Znakomite aranżacje Johna zostały umiejętnie rozszerzone na 6-częściową linię frontu, 5-częściową sekcję rytmiczną i 3 wokalistów. Wielu z naszych artystów jest wykładowcami i doktorami muzyki w zakresie wykonawstwa instrumentalnego w różnych Narodowych Akademiach Muzycznych w całym kraju. W skład naszego zespołu wchodzą również artyści najwyższego kalibru z zagranicy, którzy obecnie mieszkają w Polsce.

Supplementary to the 20 piece Silesian Jazz Orchestra, 2020 saw the inauguration and inclusion of the SJO Soul Showband into our performing production alliance. The additional 14 piece Ensemble comprises of world class artists incorporating an international line-up of 11 Instrumentalists and 3 Vocalists. We also have the complimentary option and expertise to include choreographed and costumed dancers to visually supplement the Ensemble
Highlighted emphasis option is the aptitude and feature of the SJO Soul Showband to expertly stage and showcase a Blues Brothers Show. We have acquired and secured world class arrangements from our good friend and patron John Montesante of Australia’s Legendry “Grand Wazoo” Soul Funk band.
John has worked assiduously and written for a number of the American and Australian Legends over the last 40 years. Our John Montesante’s illustrious arrangements are expertly extended to a 6 piece front line, 5 piece rhythm section and 3 vocalists
The International SJOSS band line up which we have encompassed and involved are all members of the Silesian Jazz Orchestra, additionally are of the highest quality as well as leading instrumentalists and vocalists in Poland today.
A number of our artists are lecturers and doctors of music in instrumental performance at various National Music Academy’s around the country
Our Ensemble also includes the highest calibre artists from abroad who are currently based locally
